A Fine Winter's Morning 02/18/2010
Nothing like a brisk winter morning to make you appreciate a fire and good hot beverage.
We were in the office by six thirty this morning, but as soon as things were set up, we took a break to look at the flora and fauna, while having our breakfast. We get many birds here; from the tiniest hummingbirds to red tail hawks with a wingspan like a jumbo jet. Every morning we are visited by quail and mourning doves and tiny birds in yellow waistcoast which the Boss says might be finch. The Boss is always feeding them breadcrumbs so every morning we have more birds and a greater variety. Once the routines were seen to, we came back to the office, started a fire, and got into position for another busy day. Today we're working on the website. The Boss said I could have a blog to talk about what matters to me, although I don't what I would talk about. I guess, today, I talked about birds. And bread. And hot beverages. Maybe next time I'll talk about the Boss and books. Have a great day! BGP |
