Emjae Edwards
Emjae considers herself a professional romantic, but don't call her work romantic fiction. Like everyone else around Inknbeans, she prefers the term contemporary relationship fiction. She started writing fiction for her grandmother more than twenty years ago, and only recently decided to pick up quill and ink and begin again, after toiling far too long as a technical writer.
She lives in a little castle on a hilltop in Southern California with the demanding and indifferent Lord Mogwollen, her collection of tea pots, crochet hooks and coffees from around the world. She is the last living Dodgers fan.
The Lady Must Decline
Kendra Carew is a schoolteacher and she runs her life the way she runs her classroom; routines, boundaries, calm and courteous are the rules. She knows everything there is to know within the sheltering walls of her small world. Sent out of her safe and small world to retrieve a wayward brother, she finds out just how little she knows about the world at large, and about herself.
Whit Southwell is an enigma to everyone; despite derogatory nicknames which suggest that coworkers and cohorts know him well, he's unpredictable and unstoppable. When confronted with an obstacle he either finds a way around it, or busts right through it - and Kendra just became an obstacle.

No Greater Love
Emjae Edwards hits another home run with her latest novel No Greater Love. The plot centers on Fiona and her long standing obsession with Tremaine, who is eight years her senior. She has loved him from “the time she understood the difference between boys and girls.” Tremaine, however, treats her like a sister until one fateful night when he doesn’t. Fiona suddenly has it in her power to force Tremaine to drop Paullette, to whom he is engaged, and marry her. Will she give in to her obsession, or does she love him so much she can’t bear to hurt him? I particularly like the way Emjae allows us to see Fiona’s thoughts, as well as hear her words. Often the thoughts and words are in complete opposition to one another, as in life. The book is a perfect length if you are one who likes to read straight through from beginning to end. I found the book to be thoroughly entertaining. Get it, or you’ll be missing a darn good read. - Michael E. Benson

Calling All Hearts
Scottie McArdle had a police pedigree. The blue was in her blood, her devotion was to the badge. There was nothing else in her life but the People of New York City, until the day she found herself in the line of a different kind of duty; meeting a man who wanted her to protect him from himself, to serve his need not to die alone. In exchange she would have wealth, power, children, but no love? Can she stop serving all to serve one?
Learning To Be Irish
Daire Arlen's grandfather left her a house in Northern Ireland, but it was far more than just four walls and a hearth, it was passage back to her heritage, a chance to pull the curtain back on her past, to see more than just the roads and hills and shops in the country where her father was born. It was a chance to dip her soul in the magic of her homeland.
Sitting upon that family stone was another gift from her grandfather, perhaps the one man in the world who could teach her to appreciate the house, the country, the magic, to teach her what it means to be Irish.
This book is a birthday gift to my two favourite Leprechauns.

Wife In the Mirror
Fran Smith has always lived in the shadows of her good looking parents, and their larger than life tragedy. Plain, quiet, hardworking and devoted to her mother, Fran's never aspired to anything more than being a good daughter. When she wins a trip to the place where her mother grew up, Hawaii, she cannot believe her good luck.
When Cricket Royal sees his former lover, his brother's wife, the woman who absconded with hundreds of thousands of dollars and abandoned a two year old daughter, he cannot believe his good luck.
When Fran tries to convince him that she is not the woman he both hates and loves, he cannot believe her. In his eyes, Fran Smith is the mirror image of the woman who left his family years ago, her pockets lined with stolen money and not even a backward glance at her child. If she cannot convince him, Paradise might very well become prison. And if she cannot steel her heart against his charm, even if she escapes, she'll never be free.
